Former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo’s State Funeral
Thousands gathered in Tokyo to pay their respects to Japan’s longest-serving leader, slain former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo.
The state funeral took place at Nippon Budokan with around 4,300 people in attendance on September 27.
Foreign dignitaries, Japanese lawmakers, and representatives of municipal governments joined the ceremony for Abe, who was shot to death earlier this year.
