Liz Truss’ closing conference speech in full
The Prime Minister used her address to take aim at what she described as the “anti-growth coalition” as she accused Labour, the Lib Dems, the SNP, unions, and demonstrators of holding the UK back.
She said: “The anti-growth coalition doesn’t get it, because they don’t face the same challenges as normal working people.
“These enemies of enterprise don’t know the frustration you feel to see your road blocked by protesters, or your trains off due to strikes. In fact, their friends on the hard left tend to be the ones behind the disruption.”
